Supported by the FFSG South Asia Office, the Mahseer Trust, Baobab Educational Adventures, Carleton University and the University of Massachusetts – Amherst are organizing a series of workshops on science-based conservation and management of mahseer in India, with a special focus on recreational fisheries and catch-and-release angling.
The workshops are for scientists, researchers and academics working on freshwater fish and fisheries, biodiversity managers, environmental policy makers, angling tour operators, anglers, members of the press and visual media, and anyone who is passionate about conserving the mahseer.
